Marie Josée Vermette (MJ) is a Certified Bodymind, Energy Therapy and Taoist Acupressure Practitioner, with specialized training in Sound Massage. She has been broadening her experience for 25 years with energy and intuitive healing, self development workshops and trainings, creativity and therapeutic sessions. As a skilled facilitator, vocalist and hand drummer, she has shared her talent and her passion through dance performance, music concerts and recordings, as well as singing and drumming classes.

Michelle Walton is a Registered Canadian Reflexology Therapist based in Squamish. Graduate of  the Reflexology Therapist program  through RAC. A member of the Reflexology Association of Canada, BC Chapter of RAC and Squamish Chamber of Commerce.  Michelle is available at the Garibaldi Health Clinic on Tantalus Rd Wednesdays and Fridays. Mobile service is available other days of the week. I am flexible in hours to accommodate my clients.

Reflexology is a natural, non-invasive healing art that is based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet, hands and ears that correspond to every part of the body.  The body has the ability to heal itself. Following illness, stress, injury or disease, it is in a state of "imbalance" and vital energy pathways are blocked, preventing the body from functioning effectively.  When one part of the body is not functioning well, the effect is felt throughout the entire system.  Reflexology can be used to restore and maintain the body's natural balance and encourage healing.

Kristin spent 2 years in Thailand, studying their language and medicine. 8 years ago, she began her Thai massage practice with the Buddhist principle of Metta: loving kindness, compassion and good health. Kristin is grateful to have studied with elderly Masters, who reminded her to channel Metta and to work with this intention in combination with the techniques. Her studies led her to Thai herbal applications, Pre-natal Thai massage and Thai reflexology, later she was invited to translate curriculum material for the Thai Ministry of Health, ASTI project in 2004. Kristin is an Accredited Instructor of Thai Massage and her classes invigorate students with meditative techniques and the quiet hermit/rishi practices of Reusi Dut Ton, infused into the Practitioner development. She teaches in the Sea to Sky Corridor from Vancouver to Pemberton.

Kristin also combines Craniosacral, Hakomi Counselling Techniques for Bodyworkers, Reiki and Aromatherapy Raindrop techniques. She enjoys working on herself, being with friends, family, community and loves life to the fullest.

Colleen Fraser, RMT is a Whistler based registered massage therapist and ayurvedic practitioner. She is a grad ua te of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy and the Ayurvedic Institute, and continues her self-study for over 20 years. Colleen is the director of education and training for Vida Wellness Spas, originally the co-founder of the spas.

 

She brings a long standing interest in alternative healthcare and a vibrant passion for her work. Colleen’s joy for the healing arts has been the propelling force behind her success and in her own process of sel f-discovery. Currently, she lives with her family in Whistler, where she teaches, writes, enjoys the mountains and has her private practice where she offers panchkarma personal retreats and health consultations.
